The Princess and the Pea

Say it's a breezy June afternoon, and I've got paperwork to catch up on. This is the view from my desk.

We like to remember such times, now that we are confined to our chairs... nothing but our dearest friend, blanky, to warm us.

I love this dog. What a wonderful face. Is he the fastdog?

Awww, truth be told, it was way too hot in Jne for Laika. Ms Alaska Sled Dog loves this weather. She can have it!

Looks like Laika is working hard keeping a look-out, and deserves this break indoors!

Yup, that's the fast dog, though these days, more of the nap dog. And it's true that she gets arthritic in the warm weather, but loves the snow. I guess it makes an old girl's bones feel good. She still chomps on it like a puppy.

Awww, your dog is adorable. The photos of her though are making me quite sleepy. Oh to have a dog's life ;)

I love your title. :) And the view from your desk. And I think I may well have fallen in love with your dog. Enjoy your June dreams!

Cute! I love the constant changing of positions in your photos, too. Such a hard life...

Seeing the purple flower petals fallen on the porch makes my winter heart swoon. I know exactly of these moments of which you write!

These photos demonstrate why you are the artist of our books and I am...not.
