The bakery is two-steps-down from the outside, and when we gutted that floor of the house, we replaced the back door with one that has a window. I am always surprised by this view of the garden... sometimes things look a whole lot better with a slight adjustment of perspective.

It's all about the angle, isn't it? Our two best garden view windows are out in the garage. (If you brush away the cobwebs.)
I spy a bountiful elderflower! I started a double batch of elderflower champagne last weekend and arrived back at the house today to find it fermenting nicely. I shall bottle tomorrow!
